I'm excited to document my quilts and my quilting adventures! I am currently working on a string quilt. I got the idea from Pintrest, from Catherine's Attic on Flickr. She has some beautiful quilts. This one seems to be a scrap buster but I don't think that scraps actually dwindle. It feels like they multiply! String quilts typically are made from a variety of strips of fabric, sewn together randomly. I really liked the way she put the colors together rather than randomly. Here is my progress so far. I am lucky enough to have a very sweet husband who isn't demanding of my time and I am free to sew and quilt as much as my time will allow. Let's face it though, if I could quilt without having to get up and move for a bit, I would! :D Please bear with me while I get the hang of Blogspot. :)
